Fluffers, duffers, shankers and slicers - we hear you. It's time to bin all the uptight gear and take golf back to what it is - a walk in the park. Here at Slycker we live by the casual approach. Putting style over convention and planet over performance, we champion the casual golfer with our classy antidote to modern performance-wear.
Each of our products is manufactured ethically in Portugal from organic cotton, ensuring maximum quality with minimum impact on the environment. We make no claims to help you hit the ball straight but we will get you looking great on and off the course.
So take your mulligans with pride and swing like nobody's watching. Because even if they are, they'll be wondering where you got that shirt.
Our Story
Slycker was born in the depths of the first national lockdown by us brothers, Ollie and Dom. We only took up golf in our early twenties, but were hooked straight away. The game is horrendously addictive. As Arnie put it:
"Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening - and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented."
However, as much as we love the sport, the modern game is stale and pretentious - particularly for newcomers. We want to break down the barriers to entry, and our small way of doing so is by taking a sledgehammer to conventional attire.
Both of us are terrifically average golfers despite having played for several years now. We can't be the only ones who resent the obligation to dress like Rory McIlroy… especially when you fire your first tee shot into the trees. At the end of the day who cares about your score if you look good? Then at least you'll catch a few glances while you fetch your ball.
